In Season 2, Episode 12: A Vow To A Kill, the main characters are waiting for their deaths in every villain's most stereotypical place to set up their lair, in a mouth of a volcano. The floor slowly opens to magma, but it eventually and surprisingly closes. The heroes' lives are spared. They thought one of their hackers, Mackenzie McGrath, shut the floor. However, it was actually The Admiral H.R.R. Fletcher, leader of the Oceanologists cult (a parody of the Scientologists and any other ridiculous but frightening cults in real life), saving their lives and others in the volcano. The Admiral makes use of the airwaves, used previously for Athena O'Brien's televised wedding, to make his announcement to the whole world "that the time he has spoken of has come, that the age of land has passed, to become one with the ocean." After credits of the episode cuts and fades to news outlets across the world announcing about the Oceanologists gathering and chanting "become one with the ocean" at city halls, ocean parks, harbors and etc.

1. Oh, the episode skipped to Skip at a briefing room, separated from his team. Who the heck is this CIA agent debriefing him.
2. Yeah, how did he escape from the volcano. Cue flashback to the volcano, to where the last episode left off.
3. I want to hear how the Zeerox monster will make his appearance. I bet he has a friendly demeanor, based on the Granger Things episode, but he really likes to gobble humans up...oh, spoiler alert.
4. McGrath is unconscious, and Lex is brainwashed, appears like some of the rest of the world.
5. Not brainwashed, enlightened, along with the other BILLIONS of the world. Oh, dear. Just from that broadcast? I bet The Admiral used the mind bomb from the previous episodes. Did he got his hands on it, or does he have his own? Maybe it is just his charisma.
6. Chet laughing is scary and concerning.
7. Yep, never underestimate The Admiral. I mean, never underestimate someone with an eccentric personality, especially if that one is a leader of a religious cult. Even I am fooled by the character.
8. "You left me with absolutely nothing to live for". Gulp (cross bone and skull emoji).
9. Wait, wait, Chet is just gonna kill everyone in the volcano? Including his team and Skip's team? Athena and The Admiral have totally broken him (but maybe mostly Athena).
10. "You're all dead if you don't run'' You just fired fifty missiles to where you people are! I thought you wanted everyone to die. What was the point for him to do this Influenced by his emotions? Chet needs another vacation but this time not with a cult.
11. Skip still trusts Chet, but Chet leaves him to lead the people to safety. Well, if you have not targeted the island with fifty missiles. That best man line was funny, though.
12. "No, I don’t have change! Just follow me and hold onto your receipts!" LOL
13. What luck, a buffet table with an add-on parachute. Caterer S. Dear must have foreseen this. Too bad he did not foresee getting paid.
14. ZELDA
Head for the chocolate fountain!
ARCHIE
That is the only reason I go to any wedding!
XD
15. Caterer S. Dear is having a bad workday.
16. Wait, how many people joined with Skip and his team on the buffet table with the add-on parachute? I know Caterer S. Dear went with them. The other wedding staff who still want to get paid? Oh, they left Athena's goons behind. About 2000 of them since Skip asked if they could fight off 500 each with Bowden, Gloria, Chief Anders. And Athena's supervillain guests.
17. Skip and McGrath's moments where they show that they care for each other are my favorite sweetest parts on the show (resist shipping them romantically). I believe they are platonic soul mates (must not ship to avoid fan girl heartbreak!).
18. Oh crap, Chet and Athena have pushed off the helicopter. And Kristatos O'Brien stays with the Admiral?
19. The CIA is forcing Skip to hide.
20. Show music intro
21. Cuppet? Mugman? I'm pretty sure these code names are pop culture references that I don't know about, from an old cartoon, maybe?. (Brief researching later), oh, I know Cuphead the video game! And according to the transcripts, McGrath's codename is Cuphead, but in my mind, I heard Cuppet. Vide game also tells the story of Mugman and Cuphead fighting for their lives, much like Skip and McGrath's situation.
22. It has been six months since the Volcano incident!
23. McGrath buying eggs online (I guess they cannot go out anymore) while Skip is working as a cab app driver for "Unter: the socially responsible alternative to Uber!" (oh wait, they still have to earn a living. I guess, is EMF gone?). Uber means above while Unter means below. Wait, McGrath buying groceries, Skip working to earn a living (resist!!!).
24. The hymn sounds like one of that old-timey cult music. Actually, I think North Korea still plays propaganda songs that sound exactly like that.
25. Oh, so The Oceanologists have become mainstream. Hah! 51% of the human race. That is the majority! Only takes another 1% to take over the other 49%.
26. So is Skip just trying to get by earning cab money?
27. Ah, Skip is wearing a SnapFace mask that's how he can still go out.
28. New employer? The EMF is truly gone. No more contact with the ex- EMF employees.
29. Who the heck is Reynard Muldrake? The second time of the hearing, his way of talking (I'm not talking about the modulated voice) is particular to me, or it's all in my head. Kristatos, possibly but he's broke. Maybe the Mission Voice is just volunteering or will be get paid once Kristatos reclaims his money from The Admiral.
30. "Oh, I’m not in America. I’m set up down south where the sun’s always shining." So South America then. XD During the first listen, I immediately thought of Florida.
31. Oooh, Skip joins Muldrake's mission to take down the Ocean Bureau.
32. An old couple are Skip and McGrath's landlords? Their condo has talking toilets? I have always thought that if Skip and McGrath moved in together, some geriatric living in the building will insist or think they're a couple. Let's find out if they will.
33. McGrath wants to do crimes with Skip. Okay, okay, she's getting Gregg of Night in the Woods vibes from me. XD
34. Why is Skip so bossy towards McGrath! He is no longer her boss! The hang-up earlier was so rude, too! I think McGrath being mad at Skip for being bossy/controlling towards her will be a subplot in the future. I wonder if the writers will ever think of this, or they didn't intentionally make Skip bossy. Or maybe I just think Skip is bossy, despite his optimistic and cheerful demeanor.
35. McGrath's first time using a passphrase on someone, and that someone is their old boss, Zelda Anders!
36. Zelda Anders in a mail person costume! The door is unlocked. McGrath definitely enjoyed pranking Zelda.
37. Zelda undercovers at the FBI field office as a mail clerk to be close to the "intelligence game".
38. Bowden is here! The four of them together again! And Bowden is famous now! I always knew he will make it!
39. And Gloria is here! Smashed unannounced through the windows. And she sounds threatening?
40. It's been a long time since Gloria and Bowden met, and they sound really awkward with each other. Half of me expects that they should be happy to see each other again but maybe they decide to break up because of the situation they are in.
41. She has her own team? Quinn and Jambo! Quinn is so underrated, she's the McGrath to Chet's Skip.
42. "I mean, I’m a mercenary-for-hire..." in her sweetest voice XD
43. To Zelda, the EMF is gone but to Skip they are the EMF.
44. "Fine, we’re a little stir crazy! We haven’t seen anybody, I haven’t left the apartment in months, and Skip only goes out in a mask!" ah, COVID Pandemic reference.
45. Yikes, so 51% of the population, all Oceanologists, want Skip and his friends dead. Oh right, The Admiral promised that it will happen.
46. Ahhh! Joe the Plumber is back! From way back pilot episode!
47. They are officially doing crimes!
48. "Hope neither of you was planning on having children." What's that McGrath? Directed to Bowden and Gloria specifically since they were the only ones reacting. That seems so out of place, Skip was just telling them the plan going underwater to access The Admiral's hideout. XD
49. Uh, Joe has been raptured by the Oceanologists. He no longer experiences PTSD because of them. Wow!
50. I wonder which three of Skip's six siblings are Oceanologists (this is a close reference to the right-wing misinformation/QAnon Conspiracy in the USA). I have a feeling we'll get to meet Tripp again since he lives with dolphins now.
51. They need a plumber for the mission. The Hoopers, Skip and McGrath's landlords who hate The Admiral, are in!
52. Oh, sounds like the Security Guy from the coffee shop is back to working for baddies.
53. Gloria doesn't want to have Bowden in her mercenary team?
54. Okay, going to the season 2 finale. The strange question that Gloria asked Bowden back at the Volcano lair "If anything would have happened to me, on a mission, would you stay with the EMF or move on?" I'd assume that Gloria asked if she ever dies on a mission, would Bowden leave or stay at the EMF. Gloria said that when their lives were in jeopardy at the volcano.
55. Ahh those rods they find at the pool affect sperm health. That's why McGrath said what she said about if Gloria and Bowden are planning to have babies.
56. Ahh, the first sighting of the Admiral, Lucky Lessmacher, Brainwashed Lex, and Balthazar, even Kristatos O'Brien!
57.Hole of Introspection? After some research, it means they probably left Kristatos all alone in some hole for freaking six months?!!
58. Awww...Skip and Gloria is swimming with Elephant Seals and Polar Bears.
59. The Admiral's plans with his newest contraption are revealed. Spreading a particular sound wave to brainwash the rest of the Earth.
60. Ahhh, finally, McGrath and Bowden have the talk about their relationship. There is this one episode where Bowden and Gloria kiss right in front of McGrath.
61. Oh, of course, it's time for Gloria and Skip to talk about things they don't agree with. Gloria forces Skip facing his ridiculous strictness to follow EMF protocol, meanwhile Skip questions why Gloria doesn't adhere as well as she used to.
62. "You can see it on his face: he is utterly alone.: Wasn't Skip's fear revealed to be being a lone wolf?
63. Oh gosh, it was Bowden wearing a Skip mask!
64. Hah! The first age reveal of any of the main characters! McGrath is 29!!
65. Oh, I mean hearing it, it sounds cool that Skip and Gloria are riding Elephant Seals to battle, but I remember that these are blubbery animals and it must be uncomfortable and ridiculous to be riding these. The imagery!
66. McGrath showing even slight support for Bowden's relationship with Gloria. What a character arc!
67. Skip asking Gloria to burn the last surviving EMF handbook, also a great character arc!
68. Yes, Skip, Gloria, Bowden, McGrath, and Zelda are turning the tables. They are criminals doing crimes now.
69. Credits
70. Are Skip and McGrath currently playing the Cuphead videogame? Is that why they chose those codenames?
71. Aaaahh!! Their complete antithesis couple (hah, couple, resist!!) is back. I know that if Athena and Chet are totally gone, there's gonna be a fit among the fandom.
72. Who the eff is this Reynard Muldrake? Interestingly enough, his voice actor was not credited. Ahh...JJ Prescott. Or is it Gilligan? Pat?
73. Reynard Muldrake seems to be a pro-Skip Granger. I get good vibes from them so far.
74. Uh-oh. Is Chet gonna hate and compete against Skip?
