ACTIVITY REPORT Name of Activity: Visit to Home for the Girls Date of Activity: December 10, 2014 Venue: Home for the Girls, Brgy. Bonbon, Butuan City Objectives: Ø To increase awareness of rights bearer on violence against women and to augment the efforts of duty-bearers in eliminating gender based violence. Ø To increase commitments of rights-holder in eliminating violence against women and children. Ø To forge partnerships among stakeholders in addressing VAW. Preparation Phase: The Gender and Poverty Subcommittee had a meeting last November 14, 2014 at DTI-RO Conference Room. Ms. Jasmine Faelnar, GAD Focal Person for DTI, presided the meeting.
